OBALEDO AND THE BEAUTY THIEF

Once upon a time there lived a girl named Obaledo, she was very beautiful and she was the talk of her village. At a time when monsters roamed about at night stealing whatever they desired most from people, adults and teenagers alike knew to play by the rules if they hope to remain intact

One day Obaledo's parents traveled to the next village and left her snail and yam to eat for dinner. They told her to roast the yam before the snail least the water from the snail may quench her fire. Night came and Obaledo was set for dinner. With the last match stick left in her home, Obaledo started a fire and because she had a lust for meat, she decided to roast the snail first

Just like her parents had warned, the water from the snail ended the fire before she could roast her yam. Obaledo ate her snail but it was not enough so she decided to go borrow match stick from her neighbor

On her way back, the beautiful Obaledo encountered a very ugly monster, she tried to run but couldn't move her legs. The monster stole her beauty and left her with it's ugliness. That was how Obaledo became the girl no one wanted to speak of
